I’ve always held my emotions and thoughts inside and not tell anyone or show anyone when Im upset, mad, etc. I have had anxiety attacks by myself and in silent. I want to try and stop that and let my boyfriend(of a little over 2 yrs) know when I feel like this, but I can never consistently express it because I’m scared that he will ignore it even though I know with all my heart he won’t. He knows I trust him with mostly everything and I really do but for some reason its really hard to just let myself tell someone when I need help. Does anyone know how I can help myself express my feelings and thoughts of hurt, consistently?

It’s so important to let your partner know what you’re going through. I couldn’t imagine not sharing this information. Simply because my mental health is such a huge part of my life. It affects everything I do. Sit him down and explain to him what it’s like to be “you”. Take your time. Tell him only as much as you want at a time. Good luck!!
